I can't help thinking this thread is a pisstake...

...I came here because I got laid...all the fucking time. Women here used to approach Caucasian guys. I didn't have to go through any of the arse-licking rituals I needed to chat up a Western bird (and still get turned down 99% of the time). And Japanese women were slimmer, which I preferred. So I stayed here, even as I got older and lost my looks, but that didn't matter because I had something women love more than looks or even a big dick and that was a bit of money. So I stayed here because it gave me money and I got laid with that money.
Now, I've got no money and don't get laid as much as I'd like, but I'm stuck here for a variety of reasons.
If it wasn't for that, I'd be gone. I just figure, if you're not getting laid or not making money, there's not much point being in this cuntry...

...my two bob's worth.

As long as she doesn't talk to me....

(Actually, I checked out some more of her videos <fap, fap, fap> and was relieved to know that the Gangnum Style Shiela Version voice was a pisstake)

PSY speaks outstanding English. I was really impressed. Hope he makes a killing, ends up with Hyuna and even earns a set of new nail clippers, though considering their deep affinity with Japan I don't know how an object from the former colonial oppressor would go down in the Hermit Kingdom (which is really irrelevant because the only thing I'm worried about going down is Hyuna, which she probably wouldn't do because she's young and Korean).

Yeah, but unless it's some thirdworld shithole in most other countries they normally have houses you'd want to actually buy and not mind shafting yourself over a mortgage for. Here?

the main reason I get for someone wanting to buy rather than rent is:
1. You pay less than renting... chough...
2. You can do what you want with the property.
3. They plan on living in Japan forever

obviously... number 1 is cramming 30 ~ 40 years in their antsy mood to move or think about getting property. How many people have lived in the same house for more than 10 years? 15 years? 20 years? not that much... so if you have to take a loan for something that you may not use for30+ years, you shouldn't think of buying a house in this cuntry. unless you want to deal with renting it out, maintenance, and tenant issues...

but unless I was buying a property for cash flow... i would not buy in this cuntry.

I don't know, from what I see, read and hear the P4P scene in Korea is more closed off to gaijin than in Japan. I hear also that a lot of Korean chaps are arseholes towards gaijin. All on hearsay.

I've been tempted to hop over for a weekend of fun a few times. Mates have always dissuaded me from it thus far.

Sounds pretty much like everything I've ever heard about the cuntry, except from my father, who told me that when he went there it was fucking cold and everybody tried to kill him.

I have no interest in colder climes...

...I want to go to one and waste away on of those tropical islands in the South Pacific where everyone used to fuck each other all day long until the Frenchies arrived and started nuking them and then Brando bought them and his family all went apeshit crazy. Either way, looks like fun.
If the Korean (or Japanese) birds want me, they can go down to those islands and pick a number, just like it has been for me for like...never.

I wasn't talking about P4P. I was talking about picking chicks up in night clubs or bars.

Koreans used to be real asshole to foreigners when they got drunk but that has gotten a lot better in the last 10 years. The big difference between Korean and Japanese guys though is there are Korean guys who can and will kick your ass if things get out of hand.

Nope...despite decades of futilely trying to attune myself to living in a land with four seasons, I have to concede defeat. When I can, I'm going to live in a land that has one season...summer.

Yeah... aboot that...
It seems that the military kinda fucked up the calculations and all those nuka-holes underground are now more or less ready to collapse sinkhole style, and use the insertion point well as a chimney to blow out all the resulting radioactive shit we made...

So if I wuz you... I'd avoid being anywhere near there or in the path of the winds when it happens... and remember, south hemisphere winds tend to go west, not east...

Sorry for the inconvenience... And be assured that new recruitment exam for our nukular scientist will now include calculus, geology and common sense...

On the Beach...(great Strayan dystopian literature, perhaps most famous for Ava Gardner's quote that Melbourne is "the perfect place to make a film about the end of the world.")

No probs...I'm getting sentimental about life now, anyway. Do not give a fuck about radiation-induced cancer, but would prefer to go quickly after collapsing atop a nubile wench between cavorting on white sandy beaches and living on coconuts and drinks with cherries and little umbrellas sticking out of them.

Gotta see the B&W in the context of the times...when it was made, I think there was about 15 Merkins who knew what an Australia was and even then most of them thought that was where Hitler was born. (How times have changed...now, ask Merkins about Straya and they'll start raving about LOTR)

THIS

Average Joe (errr Kim's) are just as racists as Japanese BUT it's getting better and the police there actually take shit seriously when a foreigner is assaulted, or what have you. Korea is more and more becoming what Japan should have become if it took "internationalizing" seriously. The sheer #'s of Korean students studying abroad and learning English (as opposed to Japaneeze namari Engrishu) at foreign universities is enough to make a change for the better. I've been to Korea and looked fun but being a last minute trip and not knowing the language, anyone there, or how or where to go anywhere, I just did a lot of walking and exploring the city near the hotel.
