In Britain the Royals have got rid of yaught, train, plane, and removed many distant Royals from the civic list. The Queen also pays tax. All this happened through public pressure (republican squeeze)....I wonder if the Japanese people will demand similar future down scaling?

I ain't real good with math like some of you folks but I figure they could hire 5,000 new teachers and reduce class sizes around the country with that kinda money. Or they could build a big bomb...Hell, they might even be able to house some homeless or put a lady on Mars.
