They are lucky people are limited to thinking that it is a disorder. They don't live in a country where large numbers of people think what they are doing is a sin and an abomination.

There was a TV/manga production of a story called "Hen" that eroticized both male and female homosexuality in a high school classroom. It was well done in that everything was a tease and never quite went to the point of full revelation of the character's homosexuality. So there's a case of pop culture looking at homosexuality in a sort of positive light (at least not in a bad light).
