I used to love that about buying a slab (case) of beer. It cost the price of .... 24 cans of beer. I often wondered what the purpose of buying in bulk was (I didn't wonder too much because I would drink them all quickly and in single sittings, but still, you'd think there'd be some incentive to get people to buy more in one sitting. I guess there is: they can clutter up the home more with a slab than just two or three tinnies they drink and dispose of immediately.)
Next time I go to Costco I should really calculate the savings...hell, when I go back to LA later this month I should compare prices on a few things
