Does anybody know who handles Kuroneko in Sweden?

Postby nikoneko » Sun Dec 16, 2012 6:00 pm

Absolute shot in the dark of course. I have a customer who wants a large shipment not sent by EMS which is apparently handled by the PO there in Sweden and is too slow. He is asking for TNT, DPD, or UPS, or basically anything else. DHL and Fedex are in the 3 man range, UPS unless I did something wrong is around 7 man! TNT and DPD I can't find a rate for. Kuroneko though is only about 1 man even cheaper than EMS actually.

Anyway if anybody has any ideas on how to get this order to Sweden I'd appreciate it.

Yamato uses the UPS network so if UPS operate in Sweden there's your answer.

Hmm yeah UPS operates there, but on the Yamato page it lists both a UPS service and "International TA-Q-BIN" which is where the good price is. I wonder if it is either sent a cheap UPS rate or through the PO. I'll have to call or go there tomorrow and ask maybe. That should be interesting lol.

DHL is the answer for anybody else wondering in the future. And for reference TNT can ship from here to Europe but you need an account. Gotta love those half-english, half-japanese phone calls haha.

I use FedEX for reliability and USPS (post office) if I want cheap. (US/THAILAND/CHINA/KOREA/JAPAN) Occasionally USPS fucks shit up or they lag in customs but if saving $$ is priority, it's hard to beat.

I use fedex if I want to be raped with bullshit overbilling like "custom presentation fee" or "advance of import duty fee" for shit that is never taxed by the japanese customs...

Seriously FUCK YOU FEDEX...

Never had that but I should also mention I have a business account with them and only tend to use em for volume shipments (where they tend to arrive faster and are cheaper than even the postal service)
