Now Mr Tanabe has found culinary fame — or notoriety — as a chef of dirt. Diners at his elegant French-style restaurant in Tokyo eagerly pay some Y10,000 (£70) a head for a meal in which the key ingredient is soil.

Which just goes to prove that Rupert's minions are slower in putting out such news than Yahoo! or even FG.
