EMail mystery

Postby canman » Wed Feb 06, 2013 6:29 pm

My student just called me to ask why I emailed to cancel class on June 25th, since it is a Tuesday, and we have class on Saturdays. I told her I hadn't emailed her. She had tried to respond but her email kept getting returned. I asked her to check the Address and it was my SoftBank address which I haven't used in almost 15 months. I checked the calendar and June 25th was in 2011. What the hell is going on at SoftBank?

Short answer: Softbank sucks! I've had emails arrive hours late, sometimes 12 hours or longer. Doesn't happen quite as often as it used to, but often enough to be a real hassle.

I can second that...I finally told em to fuck off and switched to docomo. As recent as 2011 I would get mails late (usually in a group blast of a few undelivered mails...and sometimes my mails would not get delivered.
