Anybody have any idea what's up withe the Japan Times these last couple of days?

Three of the top headlines currently on their website are:

1: GHQ probed delay in FDR note to Hirohito
2: Tokyo denied role in Hitler’s reported plan to escape to Japan: declassified documents
3: Wartime diplomat deplored Japan’s backward encryption tech

If I didn't know better I'd have thought it was the 1958 edition.

A quick peek at the articles suggests that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs* had a garage sale yesterday, and cleared out some old filing cabinets.

What are you doing looking at the JT site anyway, Hammer? I suppose that the current articles fit in with their reputation, "the day before yesterday's news, printed today!" only they are taking it to a bit of an extreme.
