I am deeply saddened to say that the Tokyo Metro Manners Man, who has been featured for years in posters promoting better subway behavior, has been sent on a permanent Train-Spotting-Vacation-in-the-Sky by the Metro Foundation.



According to today's press release: "The Metro Foundation, which produces the manners posters, has adopted a new slogan for the fiscal year of 2013---"Manner Fart"---in order to raise transportation manners."
