visa these days? Somebody asked me about it, looks like they're getting a job in Tokyo, but I honestly forget what I had to do when I got my first visa for Japan. I remember I had to give a health check document from my doctor, had to pay some money, had to give my degree originals.

Has it changed? It'd be interesting to know apart from helping a friend out. He thinks he has to present all these forms with declarations but again I have no idea. How expensive has it got now?

Oh no, has Google gone down again? I think I have this stuff in a book somewhere. If you send me your fax number, I will find it, run over to the konbini, make a photocopy, and fax it to you.
