One Big Step too much?

Postby Cyka UchuuJin » Sun Apr 21, 2013 6:16 pm

Saw a gothic loli girl on the ground in front of Big Step Osaka today, covered in blood with the police/paramedics all around her. Police were on the 3rd floor up and people on the ground kept looking up there.

Anyone heard about any girls taking a swan dive this morning?

Oh dear - how tragic - was she dead when you saw her?

If not, then I was going to make extremely inappropriate comments about falling off her platforms.. or is that just in poor taste?

She was not dead, the paramedics were fitting oxygen mask over her. It's not really that far a fall, but she put a good dent into the wooden planks on the ground.

Guess stuff like that doesn't make news, does it?

my point was that one could survive a fall from 3rd floor!

Yeah, seems she did... Just that your standards for 'not that high' are a bit on the rough side... Last time muminlaw missed a step she had to be taped back together at the hospital...

[mode jackass: ON] But I understand where you come from...

(notice they wrote 'successful')
(mirrors are gone, cab is wrecked, chassis seems bend...)

It's not the height you fall, it's what stops your fall which is decisive. Such as a nice soft forest.

There is also a matter of wind resistance and terminal velocity.

Drop test made on cats showed that over 7 th floor lethality of the fall decreased. their position managing to make the body act like a parachute thanks to the higher descent speed reached in mid fall allowing a slow down before landing

I sort-of survived a 7-story fall window washing.
After I hitting and cracking 18-inch, reinforced concrete sidewalk, I bounced up a meter. After the bounce, it was the second hit that really hurt--It was kind of like cracking an egg and then scrambling it.
:bounce:

Hint to the suicidal:
Do it right--Always jump from
higher than 12 stories.

Being a pussy has never done a single thing to benefit me in my entire life....

Come to think of it, pretty much any involvement with pussy has been an unmitigated disaster....
