It seems pointless for Japanese to compose Japan-related graffiti in Engrish...Although, that may, in fact, be the point?

With the demise last month of our favorite, long-suffering, train manners guy, the Tokyo Metro posters such as this month’s shown below have not been very much fun to follow…

Knowing Queenslanders (it's Australia's Deep North state that makes the Untied States' Deep South look like a Deep Thinker), these posters have probably not been tampered with at all. The only thing that makes me suspect some tomfoolery is that the posters have writing on them, which seems kinda superfluous considering the target audience.

Oi - despite being birthed in Sydney, I was edumacated in Queensland. I caught Queensland Rail every day coming home from school so the poster is only missing a section on bogans and the insane.

Then I was further edumacated at University of Queensland.

I go for the "bitte" because I've never heard a Japanese reply "you're welcome" whenever I have thanked them but I have had lots of golden curries (before and after actual consumption).

Oh merde, I was referring to the odd one out...
But I might have inadvertently been right in another way, as it turns out. Fancy having a language where you refer to your manhood as a bitte...It's such a diminutive word. At least English has its whoppers and schlongs and other words that make it sound like it has anaconda DNA somewhere in there.

Australians do that with indigenous Australians (aborigines), of which there were over 650 distinct tribes (nations)
