United States of Spying

Postby Coligny » Sat Jun 08, 2013 1:13 pm

Echelon was basically cat piss compared to what the uSSa seems to be running since 2007:

Meet 'pr1sm'

http://m.slashdot.org/story/187189

http://m.slashdot.org/story/187143

http://m.slashdot.org/story/187161

Current trend for the cool kids in denial these days:
"Herp derp, they are not caring about your communications, you are too unimportant"(*)
"Derp they are doing this since WWII, nothing new, old boring news"
"It's not worse or different than google handling your data"

Luckily, this shit is so admirably anti constitutional that really little troll feeding seems to happen...

(*) equivalent to the "panicking idiot " calls made in nukular threads...

Well, considering 'beyond fucked' is subtitled

Post all your NON-POLITICAL bullshit here. Do not read it if you are easily offended, stupid enough to respond to trolls or don't love pointless flamewars. Pleas for rationality will be ignored.

And since the original topic is unfortunately quite serious. I think it's perfectly fine here.

I agree with Coligny. Changed the title to something more descriptive.

On topic, the UK is not exactly innocent either.

Still don't understand why this is in "F*cked News":
Odd news from Japan and all things Japanese around the world.

This topic bothers me as much as anybody else, but I can find a more nuanced and well-informed discussion in the user comments section of cnn.com.... Anyway, I'll butt out now. Enjoy.

So go to CNN and be high and mighty there.

Like the old saying sez... "If you don't like watching monkeys, don't go to the zoo"

Where is the middle finger smiley when you need it...

Sorry, I forgot the sarcasm tags when I wrote that. My 8 year old kid has more insightful analysis than the commenters on CNN. Get my point now? I expect your analysis of this to be up to your usual standards, like the time we were all going to die from radiation poisoning and everybody in the world except you was involved in a massive conspiracy.

Looky the littul cunt... Looky looky...

3 posts in the thread, not a single one on topic and now shitting all over the carpet showing off how he mightily still totally miss the problem with Fukushima even 2 years later...

You don't want damn name phone# so you can organize a little Dutch ruddering session over how you are smart and shit and everyone else is a panicking idiot not even dead yet.

I would gladly try to see your viewpoint, but I don't think I can put my head that far up my ass... So once again, you don't like my posts, put me on ignore list. SInce... Surprise surprise like for CST I don't have the luxury of being able to do the same for you since you are a mod... Just be cute and don't brag too much aboot the orgasme in your pants everytime you see a filtered message from mee...

yanpa: is there a way to hack the code to allow users to ignore messages from moderators? I think Coligny should have that choice, if he so wishes.

Coligny: It doesn't matter whether your posts bother me personally or not. I'm trying to help the forum suck less. Most of the reason this forum's participation shrunk in the last few years is because of the long period where it was shut down. But the next biggest factor, I believe (based on unsolicited input from multiple ex-users) is due to way too many threads being about how Coligny is smarter than everybody else in the world. I don't even disagree with you on the general theme of this thread. It just has absolutely nothing to freaking do with Japan. The fact that FG is the only place you have to rant about this topic tells me a lot.

So basically you are just the saviour of the forum, who on now 3 post goes from "this thread is not in the good place", "I've read more intredasting comments on the trainstation loo's wall" to "ermagerd the voice told me Coligny is a pOOpyhead, and nukaplant are like totally good". Great... No... Awesome...

The fact that FG is the only place you have to rant about this topic tells me a lot.

Yea... And this remark also tells a shitload... Little hint... Don't start from the conclusion you want to reach if you try to build an argument... (But it's also true that my cats told me to fuckoff when I tried to make them use at least rot13 encoding in their email...)

The gift that keep on giving: (this one from 2006)

The National Security Agency has been secretly collecting the phone call records of tens of millions of Americans, using data provided by AT&T, Verizon and BellSouth, people with direct knowledge of the arrangement told USA TODAY.

http://yahoo.usatoday.com/news/washingt ... -nsa_x.htm

We are going to rapidly reach the point were it's easier to say what the US gov is not spying...

Why is it never the cool states secret that turn out to be true, like Area 51 aliens, Elvis still alive or Nazis on the moon but instead we got this kind of vomit inducing shit...

IIRC, they also have the Brutish flag on their state emblem, don't they? (Sorry, could be fucked looking it up.)
