A Korean Air passenger jet has overshot the runway at an airport in north-western Japan and ended up with its nose in the grass.
The plane was carrying 115 people when it arrived at Niigata airport on Monday, Japan's transport ministry said. "I saw that the landing strip wasn't going to be enough, then Bam! It made a sudden stop," a passenger told local broadcaster TBS.
Korean Air flight 763, a Boeing 737-900 airliner, landed at about 7.40pm local time on a flight from Incheon international airport in South Korea.
