I wouldn't go that far. There's definitely a certain type that likes them.

Fake Yak tats? I know girls that like the real ones but...

I've seen some FG's sporting both yak tats and hot girls (hot messes that is).

I'm sure he gets all the ladies....

True but at least they lowered the price when they reduced the size. I asked them why they did it and they said because they were too big before and customers were complaining. Only in Japan would people complain about a fast food item being too big. Especially one that wasn't even that big.

When acting as translator/guide in the US, nothing was more annoying than them bitching about the sizes of the drinks being sold. "Who drinks this much? Noone needs this much!"

Yes this is true, they did. But the lowered the price by less than the price of a crispy.

One Merican's meal is usually sufficient to feed a whole Japanese family, so they have a point, methinks...

No they don't. They could order a smaller size or not eat/drink the whole thing.

Smaller sizes are not available in the US.

And imagine a Japanese throwing away uneaten food: not done!

Seriously though, I usually order a reg meal + appetizer for two people at US famiry lestaulants. Most other places aren't so oversized unless you order it that way.

Drinks on the other hand...fast food places fill the cups with ice so just because the cup is 1L doesn't mean you're drinking 1L of soda. (speaking of which, have any of you ever ordered drinks without ice from chains here? ) Bottles from vending machines...there's a reason why they make a cap that screws back on....

It's been a long time since I ordered a drink with no ice from McDs Nippon but when tried it back in the day my experience was similar to yours at Doutor.

Agreed!

Frozen orange juice concentrate with tequila and crushed ice is freaking awesome!

Awww shit... So it's not only me Julie... I though it was due to her grandmother tromabullshit 'during the war, there was nothing to eat'... (To which I tend to answer "then don't fucking start wars" )
Also one rule: never eat anything before the expiry date, because you can keep it longer...

Yea, I seriously just throw crap away. My wife is at work when the trash goes out so... basically what she can't remember was in the fridge disappears magically. Every once in a while she asks where some weird vegetable her mom grew in her garden went.... I dunno?... cat must of ate it. (blatant lie based on previous post)
