Seeing this thread reminded me of an historical element where the Japanese were, for once, truly unique*....they were the only people regarded as Honorary Whites by Apartheid South Africa and Ehrenarier (Honorary Aryan) by Nazi Germany. I wish this came to mind more often when one of the locals tells me "Japan is peaceful cuntry."
