How was the flight?

Flight... atrocious, attendant that say neither hello nor fuck you. Food... incredibly bad... and mostly still frozen...
boarding announced to be postponed from 21:15 to 22:00
Then, at 21:18 "last call for flight -minez-, boarding on gates 25 immediately..."
Planes touching down late on the runway (middle instead of start) certainly to cut down on taxying fuel/time...

China east... bettar avoidz...

Balderdash and poppycock. Everyone knows that due to an unfortunate error in translation of the concept of "Viking", the Japanese do not believe sufficiently in Thor, the Thunder God, who consequently does not send enough amps of lightning to their dwellings to power more than a rice cooker and a cold-water only washing machine.

The incident wasn't teeth sucking free and the dude was pretty confused (Hot water for a...a washing machine???) but my lemur prevailed and I now have a choice of cold/hot water when washing clothes.

I know right? I have one of those water vacuum hoses that suck water from the bathtub into the washer. Not as cool as your set up but after a hot bath it freaking works wonders. Who knew these eco-insane japanese would come up with something I would actually use.

don't get me started on the eco idle option on the wife's car. Engine cuts out so does the AC

Driven a daisha like this once...

awesome to have the engine shut down while waiting to turn at an intersection... Just when you are going to preceed before some incoming traffic...

For traffic jams it might be ok... rest of the time it's mass produced stupid...

BMW received enough complain to launch a voluntary recall defaulting the eco idle to deactivated until explicitly turned on... also... time to switch to electric aircon too for cars...

My lemur's daihatsu does this but the AC stays on. I've driven it a few times and the restart is almost lag-free....as opposed to the BMW version Coligny mentioned, that with is plagued with issues. I like it and it does save a significant amount of fuel is you city drive more than hwy drive.
