Pink booger? (Moco is Spanish for booger) This either confirms or kills my theory that many Nissan vehicle names are derived from Mexican hookers the execs enjoy on their business trips.

You saythat like if it wuz a bad thing... Now if they could let the hookers design the cars too, that could lead only to improvments...

(BTW it's a rebadged Suzuki MR Wagon from when Nissan was buying Keicars from... Suzuki... Before the bullshit/failed partnership with the VW group that pushed Nissan to setup cooperation with Mitsubishi for their Keicar lineup first with the Kix/Minipajero then with the Dayz cars... Which now bring a new partnership between Renault and Mitsubishi where new US market Mitsubishi luxury lineup/Sedan will be rabadged Renault and Samsung Renault -Renault Group- made cars -Lattitude and SM5-SM7)

Mr Suzuki would like a word.
And the three of diamonds.

Serious answer, the kei rebadging market is all over the place. Depending on the brand, some models come from one supplier and others from another, but Daihatsu has a firm grip on the testicles of the brands under the Toyota umbrella (including Subaru, now that they are half under the umbrella and getting all the rain down their neck. RIP, Subaru kei. You were loved)

Subaru R1, R2 , Sambar... All were cool keicars killed when Totoya started butt raping Subaru (previously in bed with Mitsubishi -need to check- And long ago with Renault, they are said to be at the source of the Nissan Renault cooperation.

True to rumour, the "revived" Honda Beat isn't a kei.
Apparently the S660 being shown at the Tokyo Motor Show is it.

Damn....meaning it's going to end up just a convertible CRZ :shake:

I still don't understand how Honda ever thought making that shit Hybrid was a good idea. They took a car marketed towards people wanting a zippy lil sports car, and tried to market it to eco-minded people....which resulted in an under powered shitty excuse of a hybrid that neither of these polar opposite markets they targeted want. Retards

I'm having a hard time digging up any meaningful specs on this thing (most as yet undisclosed, apparently), but from what I have just found it may be a "kei" after all. Haven't seen anything about it being a hybrid. It does seem to be a midship though. Too early to jump to conclusions. It might turn out to be a really cool car.

On the other hand, if you want a serious sports car you might want to take a look at the new NSX.

the amount of instructional signage in this country is out of hand, it competes with the instructional noise pollution and obstructional safety items, net result is abdication of personal responsibility

I think the worst problem comes from the fact that too much disruptive warnings often for minor or near inexistant risks, coupled with a lack of scale between the threat and the sign lead to a complete bypassing of the message.

It's like excessive false positive on a sensor... the metal detector in Hanoi airport had a near 90% false positive rate... When you reach these numbers, give up on the comedy and just molest everyone... or noone... but at least spare the electricity of running the portal...
