Japan Government:Public Works Up Econ More Than Tax Cuts

TOKYO -(Dow Jones)- Public works outlays could provide more economic stimulus than tax cuts in the short run, according to a government estimate released Tuesday that may fuel political debate ahead of Sunday's general election,

YES! I want MORE concrete rather than a tax cut. All FG will agree that's what Japan needs, right?

Me too.. please please... gets concrete. Concrete theme park and museums would also be nice, so I can see where all the lovely concrete is made, the history of concrete technology... maybe make a small theme park where you can even make your own concrete art, ride concrete roller coasters, ferris wheels, etc...

Imagine a concrete pooh-chan or mickey-chan! Would remind me of the Flintstones.

Who wants a tax cut when you can get a concrete mountain :D

That's just great. What is it with the Japanese? Why isn't there more opposition to these incredibly ugly and completely unnecessary wastes of public money and time?
