Don't leave the car if you get stuck, be carefull of the exhaust gas if the snow pile up, have water and any kind of food.
Hahaha, in that situation, doesn't the car beat a bivouac? It's got heat, power, and can drive you out of there eventually?

...packing up now. Not looking forward to the traffic....or possibly getting stuck midway, though I'll have enough overpriced gift senbei, castella, etc. okashii to survive a month in the back. I swear we should open up a coffee shop with free side okashii with the yama of excess gift boxes we always have here.
