Graphic Novel: "Sex & Fury" – à paraître au Lézard Noir
Bonten Taro -- Sex & Fury is a book "trailer" in the style of a graphic novel to be put out by the French publisher Le Lézard Noir about Bonten Taro's works as a manga-ka, tattooist, painter, and enka/ballad singer.
Bonten Taro, who is most famous penning the gekiga 'Half-breed Rika' 『混血児リカ』 in Shukan Myojo. That manga/comic was turned into a popular '60s movie series by Toei Studios. and it was the source of inspiration for copycats like Russ Meyer's Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and the copy of the copycat, Tarantino.
