Maybe I should get ENRAGED like that whatisname that reports GAIJIN crime for us.

Seems really superficial, the kind that go away easily with 5 minutes of buffing/polish/wax. Honestly, looks like someone with keyholder at his belt that tried to squeeze between 2 car and scratched one...
(Wave due to side steps, parallel waves due to 2 items coming into contact at the same time, not going until the front because he entered the car on the right of yours).

Usually, when someone 'key' a car there is no overlap between strokes as they are made while walking quickly on the side, would be deeper, and either straighter because of walking speed or more accented because of the 'parking rage'.

That is a shocking alignment issue between the bodywork and the bumper too.

ABS bumpers sags in or out at the edge due to the desired flexibility mixed with the casting shape and the place of the anchor point to the bathtub/bodywork. Traditionally for the sides parallels to the bodywork you got a nylon male rail screwed to the metal fender where you press fit the upper sides of the bumper. The press fit is traditionally designed to release when you push the bumper in from behind to allow minor collision to only de-clips the side freely moving outward and up guided by the nylon rail to avoid damaging the metal bodywork. If you look at the panel gap that appears to be quite constant you can bet that the minor misalignment is certainly under factory spec and might be due to temperature or body flex.

And trying to park off the road in future.

Nothing in this picture allows to determine if the car is parked legally or illegally. AND the fact that the driver is beside taking a picture could make the car just "stopped" therefore extending even more the possibility of a legal situation.

I have some rubbing compound but as I say I'm just leaving it for the moment and parking in a slightly different place. There wasn't a car next to it and miles of space so accidental rubbing is not likely.

Anyhow, I believe the law on parking is that in the absence of signs you can park anywhere as long as you leave at least 4.5 metres of road clear. That means you can hardly park anywhere of course but in the case of where that car is it is only about half a metre on the road.

Wow, that sucks...unless they saw you leaving the car, I doubt it was because you're FG though. Probably just some dumb kids.

Well, I do have a small union jack sticker on my rear window. Plus I am the only gay in the village as it were. And no other cars parked in the same row were touched. I really don't care much - As I said, just this sort of thing is one of the reasons I run modest and older cars. My son has done worse with a tennis racquet and stones.

I have had some minor problems around mess and burnable rubbish with an individual around here who lacks sufficient torque on all their screws. I think it is more a twisted game than proper hatred. So, the T-Cut will stay in the cupboard until he or she finds another way to wind someone up.

In the meantime s/he might as well enjoy seeing their handiwork displayed around the place and as MrT suggests I am chatty with the locals about it. The guys at the petrol station noticed it and came over to ask what happened. They weren't at all over impressed and offered advice on polishing it out.

Ahhhh, I'm just as guilty with stars/stripes sticker. Can't hurt to buy a cheapie dashcam and large enough SD card, just in case. Would make good youtube fodder at the very least.

Sorta related....lemur I know has had two really idiotic confrontations with retired (assuming they ever were employed) assholes that live in her giant apartment complex. Last time it snowed, this tiny lil lemur had to shovel snow to even get into her car, let alone be able to get the car out. We all know how narrow the parking spaces are here and she wasn't strong enough to carry the snow, scoop by scoop, over the cars to the slope behind them...so she shoveled the snow to a nearby parking space that was not in use. Some bitch obaachan saw this from her window and came out to complain "If you stack it there, it will never melt!! Stop it!!" The lemur mentioned the space wasn't in use and it wasn't going to affect anyone but the obaachan just kept going until she realized she was being ignored. Next day, similar scene, only the obaachan recruited a jiji (maybe her husband?) to her cause and they went about their shit talking to the lemur who once again ignored them. They finally left with jiji saying:「いいこときかない、こいつ!!」 The next day, the car next to hers was keyed (same color/model so they probably thought it was hers) and there was a hand written sign stuck into the top of the snow mound, demanding that snow not be put there. Ruthless assholes with nothing better to do at their worst...

Next time, just hand them the shovel and say "there, put it where you'd like it".

Very good simian psychology that. I had my fancy special order XL frame red mountain bike stolen in Kanazawa, the cops returned it about a week later, and about a month later it was stolen again and returned 2 days later. The cop admitted it was the same kid, and his partner said the mother was furious with them for persecuting her poor Japanese son on behalf of a Rich Foreigner who could easily buy another one (IOW, it was a targeted race crime). I was more surprised a Japanese kid had long enough legs to ride the thing. I asked for their address, but the cop just smiled. About a half year later it got stolen again, this time for good. The cops assumed it was the same kid, but they never found it. One pokes the monkeys at one's own risk.

Also, don't forget that scratched and dented cars ward off evil spirits (aka crappy drivers) rather well, even better than at home perhaps. Nice to hear you got some sympathy from normal people. Nice is nice.

no worries, mainstream J dudes are not interested in white or western women.
only hardcore perverts like sagawa, obara or ichibashi who have been alienated or bullied from their childhood, approach white women in this country.

Right, Japanese and their "pollen" masks...

There was the knifer in Kashiwa just recently, and the news report said as part of his description that he was wearing a face mask. Then they interviewed police (all wearing masks), neighborhood folk (all wearing masks), and folks at the train station (again all in masks), and it wasn't until minutes into the report that somebody appeared in some of the b-roll background somewhere that wasn't wearing one of those damn masks.

Forbidden to wear in public in France, they passed the law just in the middle of a flu pandemic weeks after the health minister asked people to cover their mouth in public... The cat fight between health minister and justice minister (both wimin at that time if I remember well) during the cabinet meeting might have been quite a sight. It was during the for-regret-able Sarkozy's presidency where nearly everyone in the government was ready to kill everyone else had weapon and free ammo been available...
