More than 100 aftershocks have been reported since a magnitude 5.1 earthquake rattled Southern California on Friday night.

Most of the aftershocks have been small, but some were strong enough to be felt in the areas around the epicenter in northwestern Orange County.

Meanwhile, officials surveyed the damage, which for the most part was considered minor.

Sorry but 'devastated' and 'minor damage' do not go together. The title indicates that LA has been flattened by an earthquake or suffered widespread, significant damage. 'Minor' damage doesn't cut it. Luckily. However, the point stands - devastated means disaster, tragedy, much more than minor damage.

I was devastated when Ross and Rachel broke up. :cry2:

Sorry, my post was seriously pompous. Coming off the worst job I've ever had, I have lost my sense of humour not to mention irony. The agony ended but the after effects remain. What a mindfuck that year was. It's made me think 10 x whether to work in eikaiwa in Japan ever again.

To think that people celebrated the death of Nova and the big franchises - they shouldn't have. It's become the nasty small eikaiwa norm now with their weird and exploitative often women Japanese owners. Worse than the days of the big franchises. They suck deep friend dogs' balls and deserve karma burgers to eat for the rest of their existences.

No worries, I only just escaped from a somewhat fucked-up environment which would probably have sucked all the life out of me had I stuck it out much longer...
