do you know what a period is? it looks like this --> .

besides that, i think you should get paid. you worked, earned the money, and unless you have a really messed up contact, by law they have to pay ya.

Are you JPN or some kind of non-native speaker of English type of gaijin? Just wondering. As for your situation, I know one thing. It never hurst to act tough and to act like you know your rights (even if you don't). I had a conflict at work where I came in and said, "I talked to the fair labor office and I know my rights and you have to..." When in fact, I never talked nobody I was just bluffing! And they backed down!

Not-at-all! It's just fine. Good luck and welcome to FG. Keep posting and keep us updated. It's always nice to get a little more diversity.

If you wanted to quit, you should have done so in a way that would work to your benefit. Just saying "I quit" means they don't have to negotiate any kind of severance package for you. You also have reduced your leverage to get paid on a prorated basis for those days you worked in your final month. Keep requesting that you get paid in full, but it will be hard to force them to pay, since you are already out of the picture.

I've read information from the Japanese labor board that states that just because you quit it doesn't necessarily mean you forfeit severence pay or unemployment benefits. If it can be established that they treated you unfairly or tried to intimidate you with the intention of making you quit you may have a legal case against them.
