It is hard for me to imagine that a 6.1 230km Southeast of Iwo Jima managed to shake my building in Shinagawa. Are we sure that the time is right?

I usualy check this site http://www.iris.edu/seismon/?view=eveday it updates about 20 ~ 30 minutes after. My guess it was a 5.1 near tokyo-to at least.

I usualy check IRIS everyday (lol even the url says everyday) the last few days no red spots and I was just saying to myself that there will be one soon. Also notive the whole ring is on fire just now.

Tenki is probable screwed up becasue as soon a tishi is felt 50,000,000 japanese log on to that site.

Also I am wondering how many go unreported. I saw in JT that the mentioned a 3.1 the other day. But i have a feeling that anything under a 4 is simply ignored. I rekon there is a 4 every day in Kanto just it goes unnoticed.

Earthquake shakes northern Japan
NEWS.com.au, Australia From correspondents in Tokyo
November 12, 2003

A STRONG offshore earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.5 shook parts of northeastern Japan and the Tokyo region on Wednesday, but there were no reports of injuries or damage.

The quake was centered very deep at an estimated 390 kilometers underground off Japan's northeastern coast. It was strong enough to sway buildings in Tokyo, but not to shake loose objects on shelves.

Ah must be the same as the OLs in my office. All you can here is Tishi, ne ... Sugoi. Until it sounds like a song

tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne.

Repeat after me

tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne, tishi ne sogoi ne.
