Light Duty Vaccum Cleaners

Looking for something relatively small, light, and cheap to handle around the apartment duties. Do you have one you use and/or recommend?

If you remove 'cheap' the cordless dyson is my tool of the trade these days... Corded vacuums are simply unworkable in the clinic...
Only issue being the rotobrush head, i don't want to use it but couldn't find a widemouth accessory that was articulated... They are all fixed angle...

Have the Japanese makers' attempts at their own versions of Dyson yielded anything decent?

It's not rocket science. I'd say, starting from about JPY 7'000 to 8'000, everything will work just fine for "light duty". I would avoid rotating brushes in that price range, though, more trouble than worth.

The high school girl next door--she's very cheap to handle.
