Effective in Japan, sometimes...other times it just ends up confusing them. I just don't understand the drive to throw in ignorant/meaningless/offensive words in whatever misinterpreted language/culture they decide to "borrow" from. As you said, may not be an issue for them within Japan but if they try to go international, I'm sure they'll have fun living the "zero life."

Listen sweety, when they write words nobody in the said market understand, be it "I raped your mother's corpse", "I shit rainbows" or "My cat is grey" it's not going to make a change for the "intended market"... Just making opening in other market more difficult... So why not, instead of giving typewriters to monkeys, trying to give them dictionnaries ?
