CS,
I would probably have to agree. But then nature is a very complexe matter, and an evolving thing. Also, science can help people even if in some people's opinion, 'it goes against nature', for example transsexuals.
Perhaps the scientists were just making an observation based on their resaerch and findings. I do not believe in worshipping everything scientists say, but then again, I am not one of them.

That's a cosmetic change. A little more complex than wearing earrings, but still not something to be worried about from a nature perspective, as the sex chromosomes still read "XY". I'm more worried about changes to things that will propagate to future generations, specifically changes to genetic code.

CS is painting a pretty grim picture. We trace our genetic history back about 4 billion years and now a few scientists think they can improve on all of this just based on a few observations?

Listen up guys. We are a very long way from perfect understanding of what makes us tick. Let's study and learn by all means, but let's not jump the gun on something like this.

Mankind's collected knowledge is nothing compared to the sum reality of all that exists. We might be a dominant lifeform but playing God is just too dumb.

Remember the Spacers, CS.

Well, I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than terribly horrified. ;)
