ipad video app?

So I think I finally found a good use for my old ipad 1....used handbrake to convert a bunch of PR videos to play/look decent on it and found the Wii U controller stand makes a perfect iPad stand....but unfortunately, the OEM video player doesn't handle playlists?? Any recommendations on a video app that I can load in all of the PR videos and just have it loop forever and ever? (or until the same music drives me nuts and I break it)

Which get's me "Your iPad is likely too slow to play "video." Open anyway? Followed by shit playback and no loop capability X_x (The apple video app plays back flawlessly, just missing the loop/playlist feature)

I get the impression the tablet PC systems are designed to push users onto keeping data on the cloud, assuming we are all online all the time and paying rent.

My Acer gives me access to a software package called Acer Cloud which runs on my PC and makes it into a little local cloud from which I can download media. There are also file management applis which allow me to shift data around inside the tablet and from a micro sd card. Bit of a learning curve this Android thing but it does have the benefit of third party software and competitive makers who will compete for customers by offering more flexible options

The form factors of the IPad 1 (square) and IPhone 3 (half rounded) where perfect...
but the IPad 1 was fucked from day 1 by the lack of ram...

I don't understand why there is no active dev of soft to repurpose them either as digital frame, wacom tablets replacement or dumb USB screens... It's toats 'FUCK YOU G1". and judging by the new bare metal GPU language for the A7 proc ready to bet that soon pre A7 device will make nice trays or big coasters...

log on any hardware and access to your standard work environment (even if limited to the local hardware possibilities)

As shitty and old as this one its, it's the 64gb version so it's not lacking for on-device space. I can't believe something so fucking simple is near impossible to find a suitable solution for.

...and like Coligny said, this shit could at least be used for some sort of extra monitor or digital photo frame...but it's been pretty much written off. (hence me not worried about it getting stolen when used as a part of a display at the booth)
