That is because there is the stoopid old wives tale in Japan that only virgins have pink nipples....

olive skin/complexion = brownish nipples
white skin/complexion = pinkish nipples

Sure I was a bit surprised the first time I went into a sento and people do stare but I am certainly not about to but brown bootpolish on my nipples to look more Japanese in a locker room or onsen.. :roll:

You know, ever time I'm in the shower I feel kind of out of place. It's not my straight teeth, height, eye color, hair color, skin tone, language, physique, fashion, or any of that that bother me... it's the lack of foreskin that's really making me stick out....

I have been to public baths hundreds of times here and never even noticed that their penises are different (besides the obvious fact that mine is about five times as big). I just don't pay enough attention to the dicks to notice the circumcision thing or lack there of. I don't avoid looking either. I just don't think about it. I never noticed anyone trying to get a glance of mine either. If I had a son I wouldn't get him cut, by the way. But I was. I think the doc left a little on though cause my friends used to tease me about not having a 'purple thing'.

The sickest... okay, I admit it... the most disappointing thing about this culture is the female fear of the nipple. There is even a product, ironically called Nipless, that is used to cover nipples so that their shape won't be seen through a blouse. What's the point of having tits then?
