So I saw this movie back in LA 2 weeks ago. Decent movie and all that...and if you haven't yet seen it and just don't give a fuck, it's basically showcasing how a crazy bitch can manipulate, control, and spin all kinds of crazy stories of victimization to get away with murder and control others.
Some of the girls I know in Tokyo had seen it and asked what I thought. I said it was good but that bitch was craaaazy! to the tune of "そうそうそう" but both of the chickas has seen it with groups of friends and in each group, both seemed split down the middle as to what to think of the woman in the movie.
Half agreed she was a crazy bitch and did the whole "怖い"
The other half were of the "once you draw pictures of my prophet, all bets are off" mantra. But he cheeeeeeeeeeeeeated on her!! He deserved it! He deserved everything! She got her revenge and now he has to live with it!
(completely ignoring the fact she murdered a dude and is bringing a baby into the mess of a marriage held together by blackmail and spite)I'm sure there are damaged women and nutters everywhere that agree with the second half of the group but from my arguable very small sample set of people here, unsurprisingly the crazy is strong here. The only reason I bothered posting about it is the reactions in both seemed to divide each groups so strongly that the first half thinks (how you say...le confirmed?) the other half of the group is batshit crazy and is scared to invite them out anymore...resulting in further bitch wars. (just waiting for a stabbing or something to pop up on the news) I dunno how popular the movie is here but here's me throwing my 3yen into the hat for "gone girl syndrome" being "a thing" in Japan.
