Naughty Kuro leaving comments on that website. She probably won't see it because her campaign, to raise USD 3500 in four weeks, ended 10 months ago. I wonder if any new Ramen joints have opened in Burlington VT.

That is because she wrote:

If she would've written
All my life, I have been watching J-pron, etc.

she would have gotten so much more...

Just wondering if you pledge 1 million US$, whether you will be legally obliged to pay up...

It would be so funny if they got charged US$ 50,000 by those web sites without receiving the money themselves. LOL.

And that's a bad thing?

Buck tooth ain't bad. Rotten teeth, alright, I'll concede. But buck? And dem yaeba. They used to rub me the wrong way but, I dunno, starting to see the charm. I think prolonged exposure cultivates sympathy.

Ain't nothin' wrong with daikon nor daikon shaped legs. Shit be sturdy breeding material.

Slut? What's wrong with sluts now? Man, FG sure dun go down da gurgler. More like "fucked oyaji" these days.

Now, time of the day? Dafuq asks for time of day anyway. Dude'll probably crowdfund a smartphone or pick up a 108 digital...

Hmm, I live in Kyushu and I must have missed that one. I'm guessing it was just one of the many "flyjin" at the time.

Back OT, I wonder if the OP has gotten the message - to not expect any free handouts.
From what I've seen online, and through direct contact with the millennial kids of friends and relatives in North America, there does seem to be an ever-increasing number of entitled little twits who have to post meaningless drivel every 15 mins on FB/Twitter/Instagram etc., and have no concept of gaining real skills and trying to earn a living on their own.
I know that Kickstarter started off as a way for bright individuals to get funding to create products that would not be possible through traditional channels. It's sad to see that it, and similar funding sites are being abused by freeloaders and outright spammers.

True all that. One of the biggest differences I see between my generation and these kinds of kids is a general lack of self-consciousness about behaving like a tit in circumstances such as this 'crowd funding' but at the same time being obsessed by image and fearful of what others think in circumstances that don't warrant it. An extreme example of the later is the whole cyber bullying nastiness - these kids and their parents keep wahhing on about it through the mainstream media etc but the simple solution of just closing your facebook page and spending less time on social media and more on developing genuinely useful skills to help boost real self-esteem passes over their heads.

When I was around the same age as Stephen and Ilona, asking strangers to fund your trip with an assumption of how it doesn't need to be justified except by the fact you want a trip that you can't or won't pay for would have been viewed as public self-humiliation. Only losers would think of that. Now it's normal - apparently. These kids can't even put together a reasonable front - they honestly believe it's self-evident that they should do this.

The Beggar Generation. Everybody else's stuff is also mine. My favourite aspect is how such dependence addled sympathy whores will quickly turn and demand respect, even using that very phrase. It's like watching monkeys try to drive a car.

I predict we have seen the last of young Stephen on this site.

Damn, the Japan Ministry of Finance was just about to fund his travel with the tidy amount of 999,999 Pounds, but unfortunately they don't do PayPal...

How do you know? Are you Stephen under a different name? Please change your photo on the funding website as you look like the last person strangers would be attracted to and your arrogance in the first post on this thread where you explain absolutely zero and tell experienced Japan hands to fund your travel without the remotest hint of etiquette or reasons why sucks.

He's a bit like the young gaijin with varying accents who have come up to me in Japan, and demanded 'Tell me where ____ is" or "How do I get to____________?" without so much as an excuse me or a few other words that might show minimal politeness especially considering they didn't know me from Adam. My response was to answer 'No' and watch their stunned expressions.

The beacon makes no difference to a person who also ignores "date joined" or "number of posts" or indeed "font colour of user name" clues.

The site owners must be kicking themselves: they missed out on 49,999.95 sterling.

Come again? I posted a joke response to Omae, they take it at face value, Waygl helps it along by assuming I would think silly little Stephen has posted umpteen times under Omae's old hand handle - um, I think you're also confused. But carry on.
