Why stop there though? If every power outlet is now a "power station," i expect to see Leaf owners disconnecting jihanki and hand dryers all over the place to plug into "power stations."
Under that definition my home would turn into a gas station if I kept a jerrycan full of gasoline.
Important is whether one would be able to recharge when on the move. When I drove to Tokyo from Kansai a couple of years back, the only public recharging stations I saw were on parking areas along the highway. At some of them there was a queue of 4 cars waiting, each car's recharging taking on average 1 hour or so. Sounds like a not-so-good deal...
