Japanese Universities to team up with Language schools

This story if true does not bode well for those working in colleges and universities right now. I agree with the professor who states he feels the schools are giving up on language teaching.

Hmmm....with all I hear about how students at the large schools (NOVA, GEOS, etc) get graded and evaluated, this would quickly become a farce if those schools get the contracts for language teaching. Now I will qualify this statement by saying I have not taught at any of those schools and have only what I have been told by those who claim to have worked for them to go on, but from my POV, its not a good thing. However, it does sound like the Ministry of Education is gonna try to squash this.
