"Go out and rent some anime NOW!" - I guess I failed. Plus I need to go back to Japanese school, I couldn't check all of those boxes.

"33 boxes checked - You relay on your friends for anime."

Yeah, that's a pretty accurate assessment - except for the typo (relay = rely), but that's their goof, not mine. I've got a friend in the US who's basically an anime lending library. But how come they didn't have "Sugoi!" in the language section at the bottom? That's one of the most common words in anime. (At least in a lot of the ones I've seen.)

half the ones I checked increased my score just because I live in japan and I dont even care for anime:

You've seen anime before its release date for where you live.
Watched untranslated anime.
If you went to Japan to get anime.
If you own a Japanese-English dictionary.
If you've eaten with chopsticks.
Your normally asleep when its night time in Japan.
Own a Japanese music CD.
Own a Japanese video game system

It says Im an Otaku in training

Now Mr.T I can be proud of

If that's the reason you went to Japan, I think you're more than just a trainee.

I am not really into anime(more manga ha ha).

But results are in:
70 boxes checked - There is more to life than anime.

The Japanese was just to easy.

This is what to much lurking in mandarake does to you.
Am I still not allowed to have a sig?

Hmm. As I don't really watch any anime, I was branded part-otaku based on my interest in Japan and Japanese. Some of their Japanese expressions are wrong as well- I should get minus points for noticing the errors, as anime people are supposed to mangle the language.

the most annoying thing is when people notice what you are studying when you are studying and automatically assume that you like anime as much/more than they do. This annoyance factor increases when they want you to "teach" them something.... i have not yet resorted to physical violence, but that day draws near. The only safe places for study here in the states is on campus, or at home. :(
