Mummification isn't just for senior citizens

Japan woman arrested over bodies of five newborn babies

A Japanese woman suspected of abandoning the bodies of five of her own newborn babies over the course of a decade was being questioned Tuesday, police said.

Emi Wakabayashi, 34, who lives with her father, younger brother and first son, was initially arrested after police discovered the corpse of a newborn infant near their home in rural Ehime prefecture in western Japan.

The skeletal remains of four more infants were found in sealed plastic bags near her home on Monday, a police official told AFP.

Abortion is OK by me, but killing a newborn.... 5 in ten years? I wonder how many years she will serve?

Would she qualify for the death penalty?

Seriously, I doubt so. She is post-partum, so crazy by definition. But I could be wrong….

If he asks nicely, I will give him the first instalment. Hated the writing, and don't want to be under the same roof as it. Somehow, I don't think he will ask nicely.

I read the first book (an airport and a long flight was involved). Took a while to "get into", once I'd ploughed through it I gave it away. It was like eating every day at a family restaurant - there were a couple of good-ish items, but after a while it got all very same-ish. Is the TV series more entertaining?

I shouldn't really answer because I have not seen very much of the TV series, but there is this factor, which seems to be a large part of its press:

Try to read the second one, might change your mind. TV series is good and as Wags pointed out, plenty of oppai too.
