Ex-LDP lawmaker Takaya Muto involved in sex scandal: report

Takaya Muto, a Lower House member who quit the Liberal Democratic Party over an alleged money scandal last week, has engaged in sexual intercourse with a 19-year-old male prostitute repeatedly since last November, the website of weekly magazine Shukan Bunshun reported Wednesday.

Muto met the man about 20 times and paid him ¥20,000 each time, the magazine claimed on its website. Muto also had sex with him at an official residential complex for Lower House members in Tokyo on at least one occasion.

Muto is said to have denied the allegation.

The magazine also claims the 36-year-old lawmaker called the unnamed prostitute and demanded that he stop answering questions from the weekly.

The magazine posted a screenshot on its website that it says depict text-message exchanges between the two. In one of the messages, Muto apparently demanded the man serve as “a slave” to him and do whatever he wanted.

The next issue of the weekly, which hits the shelves on Thursday, is expected to carry a full story detailing the allegations.

The alleged sex scandal will likely damage the public image of the ruling LDP, which accepted a letter of resignation from Muto last week without any investigation into the alleged money scandal involving Muto.

According to Bunshun, Muto has not returned about ¥7 million that he owes to six investors. Muto denied that allegation as well.

He raised ¥41 million from a total of 23 investors by saying he planned to buy unlisted stocks of a software company to log profits, according to the weekly.

Muto was an obscure lawmaker but drew much attention last month for using Twitter to describe student protesters who oppose two government-sponsored security bills as “self-centered and extremely egoistic.”

This sounds like creepy Repressed Japanese Homocurious Man Sex to me, which seems to be as much or more about degradation and control as about the Ole In & Out. The times I was propositioned for money it was quite clear they wanted to be mean about it. That was the only part that bothered me. Some probably are, some aren't, but I would be willing to say at least a few of them took it up as a career move when Plan A failed. I think you know me well enough by now to know that I would happily blow off the prepositional inextactitudalisms of any plebs and proles and that no such ilk will deter me from being semantically exacting. It really only becomes an issue if you are insecure about your own sexuality. I suppose fearing violence dished out by homophobes might be a consideration, but other than that Kuro is happy getting fabulously ghey puns published on news sites, so I think his balls are pendulous enough to cope with anything that might arise from this.
