Peruvian runs from cops, kills a family (allegedly)

Postby Samurai_Jerk » Thu Sep 17, 2015 6:57 pm

Peruvian man who escaped police suspected in Saitama serial slayings

Police continued their investigation Thursday into a series of murders that include the deaths of a mother and her two young daughters in Kumagaya, Saitama Prefecture, suspecting the possible involvement of a 30-year-old Peruvian man they questioned days earlier.

The man, identified as Jonathan Nakada, who is unemployed with no fixed abode, sustained a skull fracture after falling out of a window and remains in a critical condition. He was taken into custody by the police at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after apparently breaking into a home with a knife, where Miwako Kato, 41, and her daughters, Misaki, 10, and Haruka, 7, were found stabbed to death, the police said. Their bodies were found in a closet.

On Sunday, before the murders occurred, the Saitama Prefecture Police questioned Nakada on a voluntary basis following a tipoff from a fire station about “a foreigner mumbling something in a smattering of Japanese.” He apparently told the officers that he wanted to go back to Peru. But the police lost track of him after he ran away when he was allowed to go for a cigarette break in a smoking area at the Kumagaya police station.

National Police Agency chief Masahito Kanetaka acknowledged the “grave consequence” that occurred after he disappeared. But Kanetaka also said it was difficult at the time for police to detain the man against his will because there was no proof or indication he was involved in a crime ...

Well you know how competitive brothers can be.

Just taking a look at the world's worst serial killers, and the top 4 are all South Americans.

The rumor at my local motsuyaki-ya is he doesn't have any Japanese blood but used fake papers to get the Nikkei visa.

That almost makes sense except for the his brother is also named Nakata so I assume they both have some Japanese blood. The more interesting question to me is what do they do with the charmer. By all reckoning he should swing except for the fact that he is pretty clearly mentally ill (not that this matters much in Japan) and he is a foreigner (which might).

There was a big industry in Peru faking koseki. They can fake it with Inca blood. I know other Peruvians with no Japanese blood who bought papers to get here.

Indeed, there is a link in Spanish NSFC Not Safe for Coligny even though there is a photo of a military airplane, relating to the Peruvian serial killer, which explains via Google Translate
Finally, before moving on to the series of murders that brought him fame, it should respond to the following: 1) why has a Japanese name ?, and 2) is there any truth to their participation in the FAP? In the first case, the true identity of the murderer is the Messiah Ludeña Pedro Pablo [translation artifact: Spanish name Pedro Pablo Mesías Ludeña]; But in late 2003, Peter changed his paternal surname "Nakada" becoming adopted by a Japanese citizen who paid 800 soles (equivalent to $ 288, approximately) to return, and plans to acquire the visa Japan, which made it easier for Japanese descendants. In the second case, it emerged that Nakada had been illegal for some time, but took a general amnesty to process your DNI (National Identity Card) presenting an irregular military ballot FAP. "I got a ballot Aviation and process my ID at the National Stadium," Nakada said about it

Quite a few of those on the list dimwit posted have fucked up families too. Which is cause and which is effect, I do not know.

Sounds very likely. It reminded me of this case.

I know about the fake Nikkei scam. The guy who said he was a fake Nikkei also mentioned the older brother. I asked why they both had the same Nakada if his papers were fake and he said the older brother did it first and he followed suit taking the same surname. That makes sense if true. Has it actually been established that they're brothers?

Surely the acquisition of one koseki would open the floodgates for his siblings? Or is that not how it works? I knew lots of South American Nikkei with obviously doubtful Japanese heritage in Kyoto. Remember also that a parent's subsequent remarriage to a Nikkei accomplishes the same result and divorce/remarriage amongst alpaca riders seems prevalent.

Anybody ever heard the name Nakada before? I get the Nakashima/Nakajima pronunciation thing, but I have never heard Nakada, only Nakata.

Isn't it the same Kanji pronounced in two different ways?

I know people who share their name in terms of writing, yet not in sound, like Takata and Takada.

Well, there we go then. I was just curious, having never heard it. But like Russel noted lots of names do that: Takata / Takada.........pretty much anything with a Ta or Shima, or Kawa, or..............yep. I do remember my Quite Proper friends insisting on the non-whatever it is pronunciation, in this case Nakashima rather than Nakajima.

What is that called when you change the Ta to Da or the like (I mean grammatically or in linguistic terms)? In Japanese it's considered degraded pronunciation or some such pejorative. Having a silent letter in my own surname I can dig wanting people to get it right.

I think that is a pretty accurate description of what his brother did. Again and again.

We are at the current clusterfuck:
Grauniad wrote:Media reports, quoting records in Peru, identified the suspect as the younger brother of Pablo Nakada, who killed 25 people in Peru between 2000 and 2006.

It shouldn't be but not everyone knows how to behave. Pretty tired of the Colombians living a few doors down. Loud, noisy, drunk a lot. Must be here on some immigration scam or a SA company doing business. I wish they would leave.

The only Third Worlders I ever found to be good neighbours were Africans, and even their food stank pretty bad. The SAmericans were dreadful with a few nice exceptions, usually Venezuelan scholarship students or Brazilian first generation Nisei on scholarships. Great bums on the girls, mind, especially the Asian-Latinas. But that F'in salsa music....Oy Vey!!!!!!!!!

Not that ESL types were all that great in shared digs, but at least when you tell them to STFU they get it even if they don't like it.
