Tourism Australia targets "the savvy* Japanese market"

Tourism Australia, which has come up with a new service for taking selfies in which the self is just one part of an epic widescreen landscape.
Mercifully, no selfie sticks are involved.

One thing the internet has rammed home to me is that there are niche fetishes everywhere. Although, I do get your point that targetting a narrow niche in a tourist campaign is unusual. Maybe the thinking was "Go to the beach, fuck easy French backpackers, prove your virility in a positive manner."
