When I was teaching full time, I didn't get any students through findateacher. But they were also just starting out, I lived outside of Tokyo, and my fees might have been too high for the poor, independantly wealthy Japanese that pay no rent and live at home. :wink:

There's no hurt in signing up, but I wouldn't depend on it for your income.

They claim to give free airfare and a rent-free apt., but I think that it's only limited to Korea. I haven't explored the site much, though, so you never know.
