LIL peyote and some time in the wild and I found my new spirit animal is the wild manko. (though tamed manko is acceptable)

I thought the manko" was some kind of juicy fruit?

Given the reputation of cabin crew, I am presuming that you have an equal opportunity policy/bat for both teams/fly to both Haneda and Narita. After all, a landfall is a landfall, no matter the surroundings.

My company is laid back about time off and I can take vacation pretty much whenever I want so I tend to keep an eye on ticket prices. I've noticed that flights to Europe seem to have gotten a lot cheaper recently but not flights to the US. What's up with that?

Also, flights to Tokyo from the US are getting very cheap again. Some friends are thinking of coming and I've seen deals between now and early summer for just under $500 direct round trip from major cities. The reverse is unfortunately not as reasonable.

Prices are based on demand and there hasn't been much demand for Japan vacations in the US. Among the Americans only weeaboos, pedos, and otakus want to come here. The rest of the country sees Japan as a strange place where people eat live animals and fat asian dudes with glasses puke on themselves before paying a high school girl for sex. However, Japanese people want to go to the states and the airlines can sell round trip tickets from here.

That and Japanese people are dumb when it comes to vacations. They NEVER do research to find the best deals, they just pay what ever HIS demands.

That's not true anymore. "Foodie" culture is taking over in America and Japan is foodie Mecca thanks to guys like Anthony Bourdain.

Chickas I was with a couple of weeks ago just haaaaad to eat at "beef katsu" near Tokyo Station...30min wait (mostly foreigners) was worth it but I still crack up at the locals of these types of places. Literally a hole in the wall under a staircase in a back alley.
