I get what you mean, but we are getting into potehto potahto territory. Even if I am professionally incompetent my qualifications are real, and can be verified. The problem with Schnozz Kawakami is that he lied about qualifications that weren't real and were easily verified as such, even though he appears to be rather competent at what he claims to be trained in, though I get that he likely wouldn't have been there at all if he hadn't lied. The A'holes you describe might be many detestable things, but what he did is so stupid it defies belief and demands maximum punishment.
