On Coligny's note, are there any Japanese nuke robots that haven't yet failed in spectacular fashion? That Toshiba one failed on press day and the ones send in to the plant have all failed, yes? I saw a documentary the other day that was focused on robotics and DARPA's grant/challenge. I'm sure it's unofficially banned in Japan as one of the Kankoku robots won first place and it featured a Japanese dude literally calling out the "Robots everywhere Japan" image as BS. He said something along the lines of some of the nuclear shit being preventable if some switches could have been flipped and buttons be pushed but in the supposed land of robots, the response was nasshingu!
