In most parking it's forbidden to access throught the vehicle entrance...

The sign clearly says stairs to parking not parking

I'm not sure if the word "clearly" is the best choice here...

Right but if there's a place for cars to enter and exit there could very easily be a place for wheelchairs to do the same.

The meaning of that sign would be clear to wheelchair-bound people in America. In other words, the intended audience. The fact that as far as I can tell from the picture they don't give any additional info like where to access the parking lot is a problem.

Is it just me or is there something not quite right about this photo that accompanies the story about the new all-you-can-eat KFC in Osaka?

Hmmmm,..........................more importantly, Expoland has risen from the dead!!!! Perhaps with this KFC All You Can Eat they are looking to kill their customers slowly this time? The Spicy corn dogs they sold at the entrance kiosk were lovely. All fresh and greasy every time. I think they actually made real popcorn there, too.

Expoland, located in Suita, Osaka, Japan, was opened as the amusement zone at the International Exposition in 1970 (Expo '70) and thrived for over 30 years as an amusement park. There were more than 40 rides and attractions, 19 restaurants and shops.

On May 5, 2007, a 19-year-old university student from Higashiomi, Shiga was killed and nineteen other guests were injured when the Fujin Raijin II derailed at Expoland. Initial reports said that forty people were injured, with thirty-one being taken to hospital.[1] An investigation revealed that the ride derailed due to a broken axle. None of the ride vehicle's axles had been replaced for fifteen years.[2] Following this accident, similar coasters at other Japanese parks were voluntarily shut down and inspected to see if they could also have the same axle flaw.[3] Expoland was cited by authorities for faulty maintenance when similar axle cracks were found on a second train a month later.[4]

The park reopened after the accident but closed again on December 9, 2007, citing a lack of customers. On February 9, 2009, its owners finally decided that the park was closed down for good.

Not sure it's quite as off as it seems. Lately, soooo many Japanese grrrls like to use クール when describing people but I never know WTF they mean unless I ask as it's been a 50/50 split of 冷たい and イケメン

There has been construction going on there for quite some time.

They have opened many new shops recently, but I did not yet visit them.

Seems they have a giant UniQlo, but that is my least favorite clothing shop.

If that's not a Photoshop job, it seems like someone did it on purpose to be funny. Otherwise why would they have correctly placed the L's and R's?

The FG forum's software limits posting a photo to 640 pixels in its largest dimension, so I cropped and straightened it. Here's the original.

Most of the Tokyo Weakender's photos are taken in Roppongi. Maybe someone with a lame sense of Nigerian humor was having fun with us.

When Accessible doesn't mean accessible

Yes, that too, but I do find that sort of usage can be troublesome to those of us that speak English not Jargonese: I have been asked if a building was Accessible where they meant configured for people with physical disabilities but I naturally assumed they meant was it able to be gotten to. The problem is that most people that readily adopt jargon like that also suffer from various degrees of a linguistic sort of Dunning-Kruger effect. It doesn't seem to occur to them that others don't know exactly what they mean when they use obscure terms of recent coinage.
Certainly nothing Engrishy about it though
