I thought the beaten people started that, too. And they do look rather Blackpool/Northern to me. That is one fat cunt even for a 65 year old looking 54 year old. Not that it's necessarily a crime............and that allows that most Thais are kind of cunts and go downhill fast once drunk. Anybody that has travelled through the land of smiles with a non-white GF probably knows what I mean.

Or danced with flirtatious drunk Thai girls at a Thai karaoke in Saitama. One muscled-bound midget was ready to kill us. Luckily the local yak liked us.

Oh and you should know better. That guy is pretty slim by North American standards.

It is all getting much, much clearer. Still, nobody desrves that sort of beating anyways, so hopefully the Thai courts will punish them appropriately.

toward weak or poor looking ppl, you try to take side with them unconditionally.
but once they take the high hand, you quickly change the attitude and conversely try to hold on to their head.
its typically seen among "charisma tough" western dudes just like you.
shame on it

When things were good,
we were young and free,
but now we grey and days grow wee,
we'd like to dance in joy and glee
but all our dreams have turned to pee.

That's what I got from it at any rate

PS it's actually not a bad point but you're not guilty of that in MYHOMO, if it's a specific charge against you and not just a general condemnation of western hypocrisy, entitlement, and assumptions of superiority. Pretty good Yellow Face, at any rate.

Elderly tourist couple testifies over brutal beating caught on tape

BANGKOK - A British couple in their 60s who were brutally attacked during a family holiday in Thailand recounted the assault Monday in court, after a visit from government officials bearing gifts and apologies.

Rosemary and Lewis Owen and their 43-year-old son were vacationing last month in the resort town of Hua Hin when a group of four allegedly drunken Thai men attacked them. A video of the April 13 assault was widely shared in Thailand and drew global attention to the attack, in which the three tourists were punched in the faces, knocked down and kicked until they fell unconscious.

Police have said the attack started after the Owens' son accidentally bumped into one of the Thai men on a crowded street. Police have arrested four suspects who face charges of aggravated group assault which carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison.

The attack was the latest blow to Thailand's image as a tourist haven and has prompted officials to vow swift punishment for the perpetrators.

[...]

Rosemary Owen, 65, suffered a serious head injury that resulted in surgery to remove a buildup of fluid in the brain. Her 68-year-old husband and 43-year-old son, who left Thailand last week, both required stitches in the head.

To be fair, she must have been unbreedable ugly by age 16, but Wage Slave did point out the contributing factor. I do hope they heal up well, though. Again, she started it, but nobody deserves that, especially from a bunch of angry bellhops.

Look at the video again. It looks like a fair assumption. At first I thought he was the aggressor but on second viewing it seems he was accosted first by a tout and walked away annoyed while brushing off a new guy who was involved in a drunken scuffle with someone else. Not pretty in any case.

I take lèse majesté laws seriously, and so should you, so comments that are in any way, no matter how minor, possible of being interpreted as not fulsome praise of both the past and potential future incumbents, the institution of monarchy itself, and how the successive monarchs are chosen, should be avoided.

I state without comment that His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Rama IX of Thailand has died.

There will be a period of one month mourning, which affects the colours of clothing people including tourists should wear, and also a restriction on celebratory events including alcohol sales.

Since I have no plans to ever visit that particular kleptocracy, I must say that if any country deserves a full blown revolution and insuing monarcy bonfire, the land of the magic ping pong balls is a great candidate.

I see that he was educated in Switzerland, just like his fellow leader Kim from best Korea. Maybe sanctions against this breeding ground for shady heads of state would be in order or else who knows what else comes after them?

I've heard from Thai people over the years that der prinz is none too popular. I wonder if that'll change once he's king or if him becoming king will change the level of respect for the throne.

Well George V got his tattoo in Japan, and he didn't seem to do much harm to the monarchy: in fact, his was one of the few monarchies to survive World War I.

Yes George did get a tat in Yokohama. Apparently it was an anchor. But the Thai king-to-be is in full chimpira mode. And what exactly is the story about the poodle?

You are on to something, Wagyl.

FooFoo came to wider public attention in 2007 when he appeared in a leaked video showing the Crown Prince's third wife, Princess Srirasm, feeding a birthday cake to the dog while wearing only a G-string.

Now that FooFoo is dead, the crown prince has a new poodle.

Called FeeFee.

So imaginative. Must be a creative guy...

Jesus Christ. That's a special kind of fucking evil.

American backpacker’s family hit out at Thai sex attacker’s five-year sentence

The family of an American backpacker who was sexually assaulted after she fell 150ft down a cliff in Thailand have hit out at her attacker’s five-year jail sentence.

Hannah Gavios, 23, broke her back and lay helpless trapped on rocks while Apai Ruangwong, 28, subjected her to a 10-hour ordeal on September 1.

She was rescued the next morning but still has no feeling in her ankles, feet and backside, and is having to learn to walk again.

Ruangwong was originally sentenced to 10 years in prison but that has been halved after he pleaded guilty to obscene behavior and causing serious injury.

Hannah’s mother Gwen, who is trying to raise money for her daughter’s medical treatment, said: “I am dismayed that it is automatically cut down to five years because of a guilty plea.“

Hannah had been teaching English in Vietnam when she took a holiday to Railay Beach in the resort of Krabi, arriving on September 1.

She encountered Ruangwong when she asked for help finding her way back to her hotel. He offered to show her the way but instead led her into the jungle where he tried to assault her.

Hannah fought him off and fled but ran off the edge of a cliff in the darkness, fracturing her spine leaving her trapped at the bottom of the cliff, where Ruangwong repeatedly sexually molested her for several hours as she lay helpless.

He later returned with other people who raised the alarm and his victim was rescued and taken to hospital.

At the time, Hannah said: ‘I honestly thought I was going to die. I felt like a total vegetable. I felt completely vulnerable. I couldn’t move anything. He didn’t rape me but he did everything else. ”

And possibly the most evil part of all.

She was flown home to Queens, New York where she is still undergoing intensive treatment and her parents Gwen and Aaron are now trying to raise up to $200,000 to help her walk again - expenses not covered by her insurance.
