I haven't bothered watching the videos .... to be frank, I can't be arsed ... but although I don't want to tar all people who help in Philippine typhoons with the same brush, there just might be a whiff of Canadian Journalist about this man. To give him his due, he does seem to achieve something slightly more solid, but from the most cursory of glances it all seems bigger in statement than substance.

Yeah, I also had an inkling that Take liked Ryan Brainless, but I see I was wrong. I admit he does give me a few good exasperated laughs, especially when things aren't great, and he is a tremendous ethnocentrist cum racist. He's always had a touch of Debuto, especially his approach to satire and parody: apparently humour need not be an element of either and any claims to the contrary are either due to one's own lack of humour or simple racism.

PS I would guess he is genuinely kidding, but don't expect him to understand why humour is supposed to be funny. He really does seem brain damaged. The old sympathetic line was that he was depressive or bipolar (which would be tough), but I think people have come around to see he's just a retarded mental case.
