You're talking about a country where at least a quarter of the population believes what they read on the side of buses and voted to leave a reasonably sane continental trading area because it would make the dark-skinned people go away and also because bendy bananas and they have fond racial memories of running away from the Germans across the channel in small boats. (Mind you some of the resident dark-skinned people apparently voted the same way because they were told it would stop the light-skinned people coming and they could invite more dark-skinned people instead. Suckers.).

Which is again superficial crap.

People objected to the red tape, the faceless Eurocrats justifying their salaries by making intricate rules

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/eu/10847979/10000-European-Union-officials-better-paid-than-David-Cameron.html

However, the commission insists the salaries were needed to attract candidates from western European countries. It claims there has been a recruitment crisis, with Britain, for instance, accounting for 12.3 per cent of the EU’s population but providing only 1.9 per cent of its officials.

No idea how they feel, but seriously doubt their position is going to be improved in the slightest by enabling the looniest Tory government ever who seem even more hellbent on screwing people over than the last lot.

Surely if British people chose not to be part of that body which they say made policy, and they evidently did not make that negative choice based on salary, then they only have themselves to blame for feeling disenfranchised. This has to be the worst moan ever. "I had every chance to sit at the big boy's table but I decided to stay away, but I am going to blame the table if I am not happy with the result."

It seems to me that the people making that kind of complaint might just get exactly what they deserve.

PS I detect some Brexit thread-creep.

Brexit: a mixture of "giving everything up to take back control we never lost" and "blaming the EU for the failings of successive British governments", underpinned by media manipulation and an astounding lack of education.

Joy proudly tells of how his family goes back all the way to Hastings in the 11th century. “The concept of being governed by an unelected body would have been absolutely abhorrent to anyone in those days....,” he says .

Quite aside from the obvious comment that women only got the vote in 1928, and fishermen only got the vote in 1918, that also makes him a fucking Norman immigrant. They. incidentally, swarmed over the channel and engaged in violence after encamping for a while near Calais. They, incidentally, were originally not from the Caen region and not Christians. Ship them all back to Scandinavia.

Some people have mentioned the custom, in certain countries, that encourages the wearing of masks to prevent spread of disease. However, this did not seem to be the case here as they were pulling them off and on regularly as they shopped. None of the group seemed ill in any way.

I'm going to file this in with religion...break with the concept where inconvenient and they should probably just keep it at home.

Ok... because it sounded like the same kind of dumpster fire I get from me bitch when phoning in shopping list trying to talk and check items in her IPhone at the same time which I don't think is even technically possible.
