Hanayashiki itself will continue to operate, RCC said.

So then this is just a fancy way to launder debt. Nothing is ever going to get better in this economy if nobody ever has to pay for their mistakes. But I guess improvement isn't the goal of the CRL.

Hanayashiki is a way cool place. Their webpage is hilarious. I guess the owner is a real no-nonsense lady, turning her nose up at yaks in search of easy collection money and whatnot.

Hey, let's merge this thread with Proposing Marriage in Tokyo. The Godzilla head in Hanayashiki park would be a way cool place to propose marriage in Tokyo.

This then is the answer! Sink that ring to the bottom of a cup of lemonade and hope for the best! No need to hurry as this park will still likely be operating well past the length of the average marriage. And if you pick the appropriate Sunday of the month, all the cosplay freaks - bloody bandages and all - will be out in full gear.

The true crime is that hanayashiki's paper brochure is not included within their webpage. I should scan it and post it somwhere. Oh, but it is so great. Really creepy, and with a true sense of humor and irony.
