At the jewelry store in Sapporo city the whole story until "arrest" arrest
TV Asahi (ANN) 5/24 (Wed) 5: 51 delivery
A man who tried to threaten cash at a jewelry store in Sapporo city was arrested for the current criminal. I caught the whole story until the camera of ANN was secured from escape.

In the image captured by the camera around 5:30 pm on 23rd, a man ran across the pedestrian crossing, and the policeman follows it. The man was caught near the ticket gate of the subway which went down the stairs. Takeda Shunsuke was arrested on suspicion of attempted robbery. Takeda pressed into a jewelry store in Chuo Ward, Sapporo City at around 5:20 pm, threatened to "money, money, Japanese money" by pushing a cutter knife to a clerk. The clerk is not injured and nothing has been taken. Takeda is silent on police investigation.

Don't you just love Google translate?

For those that don't, this sleazy, tubby, failed Japaneeeze burglar used some kind of cutter to threaten staff at a jewelry store and it sounds like he tried to pass himself as a foreigner by demanding 「マネー、マネー、ジャパニーズマネー」The vid in the link is quite hilarious...slow motion foot chase with both parties terribly unfit.

Have they ever started? 英語 as a subject is not equivalent to English. That heavily accented "eigo" the robber used, as well as specifying Japanese money, clearly points to a Japanese culprit (and a product of the lauded education system).

Judging by the way he ran he wanted to get caught

With my tin foil hat on, police training exercise caught on camera by member of the public, didn't want to get called out for racism, shiranpu

That actually fits. Slo-mo chase, no baton work, no struggle when pinned. Fake-ass demand. That, or we've hit peak retard.

Police do practice activities at 10:10 a.m., not at 5:20 p.m.
