A 70 year old gentleman (who the report describes as "without employment," casting a sinister pall over retirement) was arrested for destroying a touch panel beside a cash register in a convenience store by punching it twice with his fist. He was reportedly annoyed that, buying cigarettes, he was being asked to confirm that he was in fact over 20 years old, despite not appearing in any way to be underage.
